Contemporary half calf on marbled paper-laid boards, spine gilt ruled in six compartments with gilt lettered label, red sprinkled edges (small marks at edges of spine - otherwise VG). Pp. [viii] + 173 + [1] + 106 + [4] blank, with half title, illus with 42 engraved plates and decorative head and tailpieces in text (rather spotted throughout; no inscriptions).
