1st edn signed and dated by author on title page and with a gift inscription from the author's mother to Vera Polgreen (wife of the author's friend the Perranporth chemist, together with the author's typed and signed letter of 12 October 1999 with reference to the gift of the book to the recipient from Vera Polgreen). 8vo. Original black lettered green cloth (some light scuffing at head and tail of spine and casing with slight lean - otherwise bright VG), dustwrapper (chipped at edges with partial loss at tail of spine, inner folds and reverse rather spotted - in protective cover, not price clipped 7/6). Pp. 320 (front and rear edges partly tanned and some light spotting on endpapers; no other inscriptions).
