Contemporary full speckled calf, spine gilt ruled in six compartments with contrasting gilt lettered label, red sprinkled edges (boards lightly pitted, marks on lower board and wear at corners- otherwise VG). Pp. [ii] + lxiv + 355 + [1] errata, title page printed in red and black, engraved plate pasted onto front paste-down and partially obscured by previous owner's armorial bookplate (faint inscription at top edge of title).
